Eliana Johnston is the Principal of Turramurra Lawyers & Conveyancers.

From the start of her legal career Eliana has been interested in Property Law, Estate matters, Wills, Succession, Wealth Management, Trusts and Elder Law. Peruvian born, Eliana moved to London in 1994 where she studied Law at Brunel University, graduated with a Degree in Law (Hons) and practiced Law until she paused to grow a family of three (now two young adults and one teen). After 15 years of living in the UK, the family relocated to Sydney Australia where a pet dog was added to make the family complete.

To be admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Eliana carried out further studies at the University of Sydney with the Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) where she obtained a Diploma in Law. She then enrolled at the College of Law where she completed a Graduate Certificate of Legal Practice (Distinction).

After years of working in the Legal Industry in Sydney, Eliana opened Turramurra Lawyers & Conveyancers in the Upper Northshore where she has been living for more than 10 years.

Eliana specialises in Elder Law, Succession, Wills, Probate and deceased estates, Retirement village contracts, sale and purchase of land and Property law in general. Eliana represents elderly clients when defending Guardianship and Financial Orders applications at NCAT and has prevented the New South Wales Trustee and Guardian from taking control of her clients’ personal and financial affairs.

Eliana is also a speaker who tries to instil into the listener the importance of having well-drafted, legally binding estate planning documents and the level of protection that those documents can provide to the client as they age.

“When I was a young teen and worked helping my family in our law firm, I never imagined Law would become such a big part of my life. I enjoy working in law. I’m passionate about giving my clients the best quality of service they can have and I work tirelessly to achieve that outcome.”
