Australian government adds Reddit and Kick to under-16s social media ban – video
The federal communications minister, Anika Wells, announced on Wednesday that Reddit and video-streaming platform Kick will be added to the government’s social media ban, which is set to begin on 10 December. Companies must take reasonable steps to prevent people under the age of 16 from holding accounts, or face fines of up to $49.5m
